Faculty of Biology and Environment organizes the student scientific research competition academic year 2025

In line with HUIT’s plan for the Student Scientific Research Competition for the academic year 2025–2026, the Faculty of Biology and Environment successfully organized the faculty-level competition in March 2026, attracting strong participation from students across programs.

Following multiple rounds of announcements and calls for submissions, the Organizing Committee received a total of 27 research proposals, including:

21 projects in Biotechnology
6 projects in Environmental Science

After a rigorous evaluation process, the Academic Committee selected 11 outstanding projects to advance to the final round. The final round was held on March 29, 2026, in the format of poster presentations before discipline-specific academic panels.

At this stage, student teams demonstrated strong research capabilities, scientific thinking, and professional presentation skills. The evaluation panels provided detailed feedback and recommendations to further refine the projects for submission to the university-level competition.

At the conclusion of the competition, a total of 11 awards were granted:

Biotechnology: 01 First Prize, 01 Second Prize, 01 Third Prize, and 05 Consolation Prizes
Environmental Science: 01 First Prize, 01 Second Prize, and 01 Third Prize

The Student Scientific Research Competition is an annual academic activity that plays a vital role in:
