Faculty of Biology and Environment organizes career talk on “career opportunities for environmental students in a new era”

To support students in exploring career pathways, understanding emerging industry trends, and enhancing their readiness for a rapidly evolving labor market driven by green transformation and sustainable development, the Faculty of Biology and Environment organized a career talk entitled “Career Opportunities for Environmental Students in a New Era” on June 4, 2026.

The event brought together environmental professionals and industry representatives from A Chau Environmental Production, Trading and Services Company Limited and New Century Science and Technology Services Joint Stock Company (NEWCENLAB). The program provided students with a valuable opportunity to engage directly with employers, gain insights into workforce demands, and better understand the knowledge, skills, and competencies required in today’s environmental sector.

During the discussion, guest speakers shared practical perspectives on the future of environmental careers in the context of the green economy, circular economy initiatives, greenhouse gas emission reduction strategies, and the achievement of sustainable development goals. Students were introduced to a wide range of career opportunities and emerging professional roles, as well as the qualifications and transferable skills increasingly sought by employers.

The event featured lively interactions between students, faculty members, and industry experts. Through open discussions and question-and-answer sessions, participants gained a deeper understanding of workplace expectations, career development pathways, and strategies for enhancing their professional competitiveness after graduation.

This activity reflects the faculty’s ongoing commitment to practice-oriented education and strengthening partnerships with industry. By fostering meaningful connections between academia and employers, the faculty aims to enhance graduate employability and equip students with the skills, experiences, and professional networks needed to thrive in the environmental sector.

The career talk provided valuable insights, practical guidance, and inspiration for students as they prepare for their future careers. It also reinforced the faculty’s efforts to create learning experiences that bridge academic knowledge with professional practice, contributing to the development of highly qualified environmental professionals for sustainable development.
