Overview

The Department of Environmental Management, established in 2017, is an academic unit under the Faculty of Biology and Environment. The Department is responsible for undergraduate education in Natural Resources and Environmental Management, aiming to develop graduates with solid professional knowledge, management capacity, and applied thinking to support sustainable development.

Education

The Department delivers undergraduate courses with an emphasis on environmental governance, resource management, sustainability, and policy implementation. Teaching activities focus on:

  • Practice-oriented and outcome-based learning
  • Integration of real-world environmental management issues
  • Alignment with labor market demands and sustainable development goals
  • Field trips, professional internships, and experiential learning activities are regularly organized to enhance students’ practical skills and career readiness.

  • Despite being a young department, Environmental Management places strong emphasis on scientific research and academic development. Academic staff and students actively participate in research projects at various levels, contributing to environmental planning, management, and policy-oriented studies.
  • Research findings are disseminated through peer-reviewed national and international journals, as well as academic conferences and scientific seminars.
