On May 30, 2026, the Faculty of Biology and Environment successfully organized its faculty-level Scientific Workshop for the 2025–2026 academic year. As a key component of the faculty’s science and technology action plan, the event served as a forum for academic exchange and the dissemination of new research findings, while strengthening collaborative ties between the faculty, scientists, experts, and partner institutions.

     The workshop was honored to welcome the following distinguished guests:

• Prof. Dr. Le Van Minh – Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Health Sciences, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM);
• Quan Quoc Dang – Office of Science and Technology, University of Science, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM);
• Sc. Bui Nguyen The Kiet – Management Board of Protection and Special-Use Forests of Ho Chi Minh City;
• Do Thanh Tri – Faculty of Biology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education.

     Representing the faculty were members of the faculty management board and the entire teaching staff.

     Through plenary and thematic sessions, the workshop showcased numerous new research projects in the fields of biotechnology and environmental science. These presentations not only highlighted the research dedication of the faculty and scientists but also opened up opportunities for interdisciplinary and inter-unit cooperation in teaching and research for the future.

     The workshop concluded successfully, reaffirming the Faculty of Biology and Environment's vital role as an academic bridge within the scientific community.
