As part of the Specialized Field Study course for 14DH Biotechnology students, the Faculty of Biology and Environment, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT), organized a practical learning visit to Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company from August 11 to August 18, 2026.

The field study was designed to strengthen the connection between academic knowledge and industry practice, providing students with an opportunity to explore a real-world production environment and gain a better understanding of the application of science and technology in the food industry.

Exploring Modern Instant Noodle Production

During the visit, students received an overview of Acecook Vietnam’s development, business activities, and production operations. They were introduced to the company’s instant noodle production process and gained insights into how science and technology are integrated into different stages of production to ensure product quality and safety.

A key highlight of the program was the opportunity to observe the company’s modern production lines firsthand. The experience enabled students to connect knowledge gained in the classroom with practical production processes, particularly in relation to industrial manufacturing, quality control, and technological applications in the food industry.

Connecting Classroom Learning with Career Development

Beyond technical knowledge, the field study provided students with valuable exposure to the professional working environment and a clearer understanding of the competencies required of graduates in biotechnology.

Students also participated in interactive activities and games organized by Acecook Vietnam, creating an engaging and dynamic learning environment. These activities added a meaningful experiential dimension to the program and provided students with memorable moments during their field study.

Through direct observation and interaction with the enterprise, students had the opportunity to broaden their understanding of production practices while reflecting on their own career orientation and professional development.
