On the morning of September 9, 2026, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT) and Ho Chi Minh City University of Education (HCMUE) officially signed a cooperation agreement and launched the HSK satellite test center at HUIT. This marks an important milestone in expanding cooperation between the two higher education institutions, while bringing the international Chinese language proficiency test closer to learners in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern region. The combination of HUIT’s capabilities in administration, facilities, and technological infrastructure with HCMUE’s experience in HSK testing not only provides a more convenient test location but also aims to establish a professional testing environment, contributing to the standardization of Chinese language proficiency and expanding learning and career opportunities for learners amid increasingly extensive exchange and cooperation between Vietnam and China.

The program was also honored by the presence of Dr. Dao Hien Chi, Senior Specialist, and MSc. Phan The Hung, Principal Specialist, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Training. Also attending the ceremony were representatives of the leadership boards, leaders of various units, and key staff and lecturers from both universities.
